Why we LOVE lasagna?
My husband and I have always been fans of classic Italian dishes, especially after a good binge watch on television. Inspiration to make the recipe simpler is always our goal!
Another great thing about making beef lasagna is that you can simply keep the leftovers for the next day. Just reheat it on the next day, and it is good to eat!

How to make beef lasagna?
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Cook the lasagna pasta: Yes, you heard me right. I’ve tried using dried lasagna and personally prefer to have the pasta boiled for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce: Cook the sauce for about 5 minutes after adding 1 tablespoon of fine sugar.
- Cook the meat: Add the minced beef into the sauce and cook for a good 10 minutes.
- Lasagna is ready to assemble! Assemble them in the aluminium pan, ceramic or just any flat baking dish (205l x 205h x 48w mm) for that matter in the order of: Pasta > Sauce> Mozzarella and repeat the order of assembly until you have at least 4 layers. The layer should end with mozzarella cheese.
- Lasagna: I like to have a layer of pasta at the bottom as well so that you don’t lose too much of the sauce when baking
- Cooked sauce and beef
- Baby spinach
- Mozzarella cheese
